Coach Fletcher says: "Jeff Baumgartner is a red shirt junior. He has been in the Lipscomb system for a while. He had a great freshman year and then was put in a tough role with us last year and had to adjust. Jeff will compete for playing time at first base this year and will be in the lineup a lot to face lefties. He will also work some out of the bullpen. We need him to give us some added depth."
