Coach Fletcher says, "David Becker is a junior who split time at the catcher position last season with Ryan Price. This year he is on a catching staff of three. Time will tell which catcher will see the most playing time as all have an important quality to offer. It will come down to who can handle the staff at the time being and who can drive runs in. David has gotten a lot better over the years and he is a thrill to have around."

2005: Fifth on the team in batting average at .281... Tied for second on the team in sacrifice flies with 2... Fourth on the team in fielding percentage at .976. Recorded multiple hits in six games with four two-hit games, one three-hit game and one four-hit game.

2004: Saw limited action last season playing in eight games, starting three.

High School: Played both football and baseball in high school. Earned All-District, All-Region, All-Midstate and All-Tournament honors.
