Coach Peck says: "Abby is easily one of our most competitive and hard-nosed players. She finds ways to win and absolutely hates to lose. She gave us a huge boost in the middle of the order last year and will be counted on to do the same as a sophomore. After finishing in the top ten in the A-Sun in several offensive categories, we feel that Abby has taken some steps forward this fall offensively and defensively. She appears much more confident and poised at her shortstop position and has really started to understand her role on this team. Abby loves challenges, and she will work until she gets there. She is as eager as anyone to win a championship."
